Using SMS marketing is simple and hard at the same time. How complicated it becomes is really based on the company and the campaign.
Some brands will want to have their own short code; that is the 5 or 6 digit number where people will send the keyword. A large global company might need to have this kind of autonomy. In your opinion is retail still in the midst of recession? April sales looked promising, however it seems there is cautious optimism with many retailers in the throes of recession. Walmart has just let go close to 14,000 employees! What is your opinion?
Well, I think everyone is following what is happening in retail by default these days. There’s no way you can escape the fact that sales are down and that people are neverous. I personally know plenty of people who were employed and now have no work or have taken lower paying jobs to get by. Of course, I am not an economist or anygthing so my opinion is definetely not scientific. But as a regular listener, I find that even the people who know how all this works are stumped at this time. Even with what is happening with our economy, I feel that it would be a mistake for businesses to quit marketing especially when they can do things that are not extremely expensive. Whenever the economy turns around, it would be better to have an audience rather than have to build one from scratch.
